Support Independent Fashion

If I were to call myself a sweet person, someone would be bound to kick the deceiving smile off my face. But in this sick and twisted world of greed and corruption, there are very few things that I do strongly support. And those things are children, animals, and education. THIS happens to fall into one of those categories...

PASSPORT TO STYLE is a non-profit scholarship project by the Fashion Group International, San Diego, and Focus. This annual event connects independent fashion designers with boutiques and San Diego fashionistas.

This is a contest between local designers, competing in 15 boutiques (see above card for participating boutiques in addition to Unsteady, 5 & A Dime, and Blends) for a chance at thousands of dollars in scholarship money (no, they did not specify how much) and recognition within the community, which is, my friends, what is known as "street cred" in dees here parts.

Get the card and read the details.
